Magnolia seedlings

Question
We live on 20 acres and have a few mature magnolias that bloom.  The past year or two we stated seeing many "volunteer" magnolias coming up.  Will these "volunteers" eventually bloom? Is it possible to dig them up and move them to other locations on the property with luck of them surviving?  Also, would we possibly have success in digging them up and moving them into pots and 揵aby them?and plant later?

Answer
Seedlings will sometimes appear under trees, but most propagation is done through seed, cuttings taken in the summer, or from grafting. Most propagation is done through seed, cuttings taken in the summer, or from grafting. Cutting grown plants are vastly superior to most seedlings because they begin flowering the first year or two after propagation while seedlings may take 15 to 20 years to bloom.
You can either transplant them where you want them or into large pots. I think I would try the pots until the seedlings were 12 inches tall. The new seedling need to be grown in partial shade so in the pots they can be placed under a tree or in the yard in the shade.--the parent magnolia maybe the place
