We have a 12-year old Arizona Cypress in our back yard - the cypress knees are becoming a pest.  I want to kill the tree and make sure I eliminate the knee problem.  How do I do that?

Cut the tree and spray or paint the stump with a herbicide called Roundup. Treat as soon as you cut the tree. The plants root system will absorb the Roundup and kill the root system eliminating the roots and the knees. Roundup can be bought at most nursery/ garden type stores.
