Question
i live i  lower michigan..in our yard there is a tree that has..leaves similar to a peach or cherry but the fruit looks like a cherry crossed with a rasberry( a bumpy cherry) it tastes similar to a peach i think but no one seems to know what the name of this tree is or if the fruit is safe to eat..the fruit is small like a cherry but has no pit..please help

I do not have enough information to ID this tree--if you have a picture of the fruit and leaves you can send it to [email protected] and I try to ID it. Or you could contact the Michigan Extension Service Fruit experts and ask them (they may also need a picture) They are familar with local fruit.
