Question
My weeping beech has buds on it but still has not bloomed.  Can you tell me why.  It looks healthy too me, but only one bud so far looks like it might be opening.  Any advice.  This tree was planted last spring and was fine throughtout last summer.

Wait and see. Trees leaf out depending on weather conditions-- temperature, moisture, sunlight hours and species of the tree all effect when the tree leafs out. If the branches are still fexable the treee is still alive. Let Mother nature takes its time and see what happens.
