Questionwill black knot on a plum tree stop it from fruiting?
how is it dealt with
AnswerYes indiectly--it infects the young branches which is where most of the friut is formed. It should not affect the blooming. If you had blooms this year and no fruit is setting then pollination maybe your problem. Here is a web link for black knot and control: http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/depts/pp/notes/oldnotes/fd4.htm
