I have a cooking apple tree which must be about 15-20 foot tall. i would like to know how to prune it back. What branches to remove, how much to prune it back by and when is the best time to do it as not all the leaves have fallen yet. I live in the south west of england. many thanks chris. ps didn't know anything about your site until i watched click on line on bbc news 24
