QuestionWe planted 2 pine trees a couple of weeks ago and they aren't looking so hot. The new growth looks very dry as does the rest of the tree. Now we have been watering them daily and they were fertilized. Is there anything I can do to save them?
AnswerApril,
It sounds like your trees are suffering from water stress that occurred last year. Many times the symptoms are not expressed until the following year. Make sure you irrigate with 1 inch of water each week and be patient. Do not over-water.
