Sprayed Fruit Tress with Ortho Weed Killer

Question
I have sprayed about 5 days ago 10 trees (apples, cherry, pear and plums) they are about 3 years old with Ortho Weed Killer (by mistake), and now the leaves are still green, but dying, (I only sprayed one time), is there anything I can do?

ps:  It has been rainning since yesterday.

Thank you for your help.

Sam

Answer
Sam,

Here is the straight scoop.  The herbicides were taken up by the trees through the leaves 5 days ago, so it can rain for 40 days.  The product you used by mistake is directed towards dicots, i.e. your trees.  Only time will tell if the dose was high enough to kill the trees.  Be patient and perhaps the trees will grow out of it.  If not you will have time to decide what replacements you will plant next.

Good luck
