Question
Do dogwood trees like alot of water because I was going to plant some trees in the middle of the yard. I was wondering if it would hurt it.

Erma,

It depends.  Is the middle of your a  swamp?  Or do you have irrigation that you run alot?  Dogwood will tolerate moist but not waterlogged conditions.  When you plant these trees make sure the crown is about 2" above grade and surround with a layer of mulch no more than 2=3" thick and you should be all sett.
