QuestionI have recently purchased a well landscaped home near humid Houston, Texas. I have 3 Confederate Rose trees and one is taller than my house. I had never heard of this tree before and I loved the way it was covered with white blooms early in the morning. When the sun touched them they would turn a bright pink, then dark pink by evening and that was it. When and how far back should I trim these trees back? Any info would be greatly appreciated since I don't have a green thumb. Thanks
AnswerKim,
It is hard to make to recommendation through this forum for your situation. Contact a certified arborist in your area. Do not hire anyone who tops trees. These folks are not arborists, no matter what is painted on their truck.
Good luck
