Good morning! (Or afternoon)  My name is Austin and I am a middle school student in Michigan.  We are researching careers in my class.  I think I would like to be a forester one day.  Could you answer the following questions?  What classes would you suggest I should take in high school?  We have a Technology Center near where I live.  It is where you can go to take additional classes for a job that you might be interested in, you have hands on experience in those classes.  What other activities should I get involved in that will help me get experience?  Looking forward to hearing from you.  You can email me at [email protected].  Thanks so much for your time!

Austin: For a good back ground before you attend College you will need a sound Math and Science understanding. I would take all the Math cources and Science cources you can. There is a web site that deals with Forestry called forestry.about.com. Here you can get loads of information on Forestry and what is needed.
