Question
The City of Los Angeles has planted Camphor Trees in our neighborhood. Some of them have started to dropping their leaves.  I think they might have some kind of mites. They have spots on the leave.
I have checked all my gardening books and can't find anything.

I suggest you call the city and ask for the Urban Forester--LA has a good forestry staff and should be able to answer your questions. Here is the web site with an article about one of the problems they experianced and at the bottom of the article is the phone # to call for information.
