QuestionIs there a good site to find information out about plants and tree care or a good search engine?
I just started in Aug and have the plant tags from the store but would like to know a little more about when and what they like in fertilizer, when to prune, watering, ect.
Also, I have two new weeping willows which I'm not sure about fertilizing. I planted them both at the same time one seemed to take well the other one leaves turned yellow/brown immediately......the store said as long as the branches were not crisp not to worry about it.
Thanks in advance.
AnswerI use the search engine Google.com. You can enter the plants name and you will get more information that you need. As far as the willow--the easiest way to determine if the tree is still alive is to start at the end of the branch that is yellow. brown and scrape a small part of the bark off the twig. If the color under the bark is green then the branch is alive at that point--If the color is brown then the branch is dead at that point and you should continue down the branch until you find green. You can prune the dead off.
