can i trim my plumbagos anytime, or should i wait til early spring

Hi Sheila, I was just alerted by "All Experts" that I had a question from you,,,I never received it, which happens occasionally and we apologize for that. You can trim it back now with no problems at all, as long as you know you will be without those beautiful blue flowers for a Month or so,,,but the wait will be worth it, for they do get unruly and need shaping occasionally; I say shaping instead of a severe cutback or it will be much longer to obtain the color back. The only time I would refrain from trimming is from October through February. Nick
