Questioni have recently moved to Abu Dhabi, UAE from Hawaii and I purchased a potted plumeria from the nursery. I've seen plumeria trees thriving along the roads and in landscaping, so I thought, despite my lack of green thumb, I might be able to maintain one at my home.
When I brought it home it was doing well and putting out new leaves. However, in the last few days, the older leaves have rapidly yellowed and dropped. I noticed today that it may be root bound, and I plan to re pot it in the next few days. The weather has also been getting noticeably hotter but I continue to water it about once every three days.
Is there something I should be doing and/or something I should not be doing? I really want to keep this plant alive! Thanks so much for your help!

AnswerYou are rotting the root system,, Plumerias (Frangipani) need very little water,,,they contain most the water they need in their stems; lift it out of the medium it is in,,,and replant it in a soil used for Cactus,,and then water once every 2 weeks and then only sparingly.
