Question
Hi Nick,  I have lots of different colored pentas and all flourish except for the white ones.  I care for them the same way - keep them watered regularly, snip off the dead buds and keep them trimmed - but they tend to die off.  Are they just less hardy?

I too have had difficulty with the white varieties,,but can't seem to find out why, but unlike the more common ones , they seem to prefer afternoon shady conditions (which shouldn't be...); but they still seem much less vibrant and never achieve the robust growth of the others. Try growing them in containers, where you can move them about for a more controlled environment, while supplying them with a better growing medium also. Nick
