We live in Karratha WA
AnswerHi Cheryl, The Passionfruit has several varieties, some are self fertile, while others need pollination from other sources, you need to know which species you have and then you can get a better picture of what needs to be done to get fruit to take hold; your Bananas need to plump out, which means the individual fingers will swell as time goes on and when you have several weeks go by without any further swelling , and they begin to turn a lighter green, then pick them and hang them "inverted" in a cooler, darker environment, like a garage or shed or even your house. They need to be inverted, because once picked, ripening takes place quickly and they will peel off the bunch (gravity) and fall to the floor. You can even cut of separate hands from the bunch when on the plant, so that you are not looking at too many Bananas at once. Just don't let them ripen on the plant, or they will taste starchy. Nick
