QuestionI live in Central Texas we have had our saga palms for 6 years. We had a very cold winter this year and my Saga's are not blooming. I have two that leaves are coming from the center but are coming out very slow. I have two more that the leaves are coming from the bottom around the plant but not from the top. I don't want to pull them unless I am sure they are dead and not going to come back. The one I have in the center is a two headed saga and it is blooming from around the plant but not from on top. Thanks hope you can help. PS never had problems with them before.
AnswerI am certain that your Sago will be fine, I say this because you have pups forming at the base and the existing fronds seem to be fine also; just let Mother Nature take its couse, it will shrug off the cold stress it went through and move on in a healthy fashion.
