Is there anyway that i can trim this plant up, the leafs is touching the floor send u a picturec of it.thanks
AnswerYes, you can do what my wife calls, "giving it a haircut", she trims ours up once a year (it is outside in the ground, and is 6 feet tall)..the long fronds can be trimmed (like a haircut), by cutting them about six inches in , or to your liking, so that they are even and no longer touching the floor. This will not harm the Plant in any way, and does indeed need to be done periodically. You can also remove some of the lower ones by snipping them right up against the trunk, without cutting into the trunk itself..and removing the entire frond.Remember with a Pony Tail, that they need very little water, for they store a reservoir in that bulbular trunk .Nick
