QuestionI have four Hawaiian Ti plants outdoors. They took a hard hit with the freeze we have been having in north Florida. They are all drooping and brown - do I need to pull them out and replant or will they come back? Is there anything I can do to help bring them back?
Thank you for your time.
Sue
AnswerHey may indeed come back, but it will be a slow process and another such freeze will assuredly do them in; do not prune them at this point, this will just asabate the situation, leave them be, and next time a cold snap is predicted, cover the with a blanket, even if it bends the branches, the key is to protect the roots.
