QuestionHi
I wanted to ask if my plant will recover.we had a really cold winter this year and my pony tail plant has turned yellow leaves as though it is dying-however there is some new green growth sprouting from the top-should I cut off dead leaves just leaving this bit of green or leave it to see how it goes on?
Thia plant is about 8 years old and is in my conservatory which it has always thrived in until this winter!
AnswerHi Joy, you can strip off the completely brown fronds, they should remove pretty easily, but the yellowed ones are still functioning, and at this point, the palm needs all the help it can get; in time , it will recover completely, but because of the severity of the winter we had, its taking longer then usual and we tend to become impatient.
