Foxtail Freeze Damage
I have 2 foxtail palms that were damaged by freeze in Central Florida this year. Got them several years ago at Costco. All foliage turned brown on both, one I removed the dead foliage and other is as you see. Do you think these will come back or any advice on finding that answer? Thanks!

AnswerHey Tom, this is probably the most common question I have had since the cold weather finally subsided; It will be months before you will know if it will make it or not, in the mean time spray it down with a Copper fungicide to prevent the onset of any fungal infections and keep it properly irrigated, it will either totally wither or you will see the onset of a new frond. This is a very long procedure and as I said, it could be Fall before you see anything, and then it will be in a weakened state going into next Winter. Nick
