QuestionNick, thanks for the response but, I don't see any new growth, just lots of brown frond that are tightly attached. Do I trim them back, pull Thames off or just spray the copper over all of them?
AnswerThe fact that the fronds are holding tight is a good sign, even if they are brown; go ahead and spray the entire Palm down with the Copper and in a week, repeat. It will be a long wait for anything to happen thats positive, but if it is to decline, it will do so much rapidly. Look for new growth from the center, but give it the tug test on a weekly basis, if the fronds begin to pull out and are mushy at the ends, then it is declining, and will probably need to be removed and a new one planted.
