QuestionMr. McCann,
I have a large Pachira tree that was installed in a tropical house about a year ago. The tree has been doing fine until recently when the leafs including all emerging leafs a bleached look. The plant is on the wet side. Also, no signs of insects.
AnswerHi Jerry, that is usually (not always...) an indication of a nutrient deficiency, but if (as you say...) it is getting too much water , the roots could be running into problems; check the drainage holes in the container, if they are wet, then back off watering until they dry up and the soil near the surface begins to dry also.
