QuestionDear Nick,
We planted our sea grape pants about 9 months ago and have done well in the Tampa Bay climate. We have had some frost and drought. After the recent heavy rain and wind a lot of the leaves have fallen off. Do we clip the branches/stems to promote growth or leave as is. Thanks!
AnswerHi Philippe, leave them be for now, wait until new growth commences before pruning to the desired shape; they will shed leaves in abundance when cold stressed, but this is nothing to be too concerned about, as long as they are still viable, they will bounce back for you. Nick
