Question
H Nick, I couldn't ask another questions unless I started a new thread.  When you say repot into a much larger pot, what size would you recommend.  I don't want to repot again for a good while because it disturbs the bird, but don't want to get too large of a pot incase that is not good for my bird.  It is now in a 12" pot would I go 16" or 20" or bigger.

I will be totally honest with you, Birds here in Florida grow upwards of 25 feet!, they need room for their feet to expand, and the first indication they will give you when they become cramped is stunted crown growth; that said, I would put it in as big a container as you can handle, I know this is tough, because being in a cold climate zone, it will need to be moved into a protected environment during the cold months, but if you have the space and a strong helper, I would say that , bigger is better!.
