QuestionI have come upon 3 queen anne palms that are about 4 years old. Can I transplant them and if so how.
AnswerHi Brad, You can transplant them, but when you lift them, ( I am assuming they are in the ground and you want to relocate them...) be sure to try to get as much of the root ball with attached soil as possible, and make sure you plant them in the new location at exactly the same level they were at in the old location; water them well after planting, to eliminate any air pockets, and keep them irrigated on a daily basis for a couple of weeks, until the roots take hold.
