Question
Its August now and ive noticed that the leaves on my passion flowers have been turning yellow and dropping off for the last 6 weeks.They are in tubs and flower quite well. What causes it and what can i do to prevent it happening next year ? many thanks.

It could be getting too much water, but don't be concerned, they are created to take a lot of punishment, for the Monarch Butterfly larvae feed on them and can often strip them bare, and they still come back! even better! They are a major source of food for several Butterflys, and they thrive on the abuse. The benefit is you get to enjoy the adult Butterflys after they feed and  go through their metamorphis. Nick
