QuestionHi I have a Cycas Revoluta left behind by a family thats moved out. We are based in Bahrain in the Middle East for a 3 year assignment. Can you advise what care is needed for this plant? Its really small - about 12 " high and has 2 tall fronds and 2 relatively shorter fronds 4-5". Bahrain gets really hot and humid in summer ( greater than 100 deg F afternoons and about 80-90% humidity). Thanks Jeff
AnswerHi Jeff, your King Sago can be planted in any sunny location in a relatively fertile soil; make certain that it is given adequate irrigation in that extreme heat, otherwise it will be just fine, for that is its normal growing conditions. Here in Florida, we have Sagos all over the place and they are very resilent, needing no special care, except adequate water. Nick
