QuestionThere is a hoya vine that was planting in a bad location at least 5 years ago before i moved in, around a tree. It is not growing well, with a vine maybe 2-3 ft long. Id like to dig it up and put it into a pot. Do you have any suggestions on how i can do that without sending it into too much shock or killing it? thanks
AnswerHi Shelly, they do not respond well to transplanting, but if you must, then cut it back to about a foot and use the cut off sections for new plants, by dipping them in a rooting hormone and putting them in separate pots, then lift the original plant with as little disturbance as possible to the root ball, and repot immediately.
