Question
My potted plant is doing great, however we will soon get freezing weather.  Its on the porch next to the house.  How else can I help my plant survive the cold? Should it be pruned?

Hi Carol, the only thing you can do is bring it in at this point, it is tropical and will not stand a chance outside, even with protection; bring it in and put it near a window where it can get afternoon sun, and hopefully it will  survive long enough to move it back out in the spring. Bougs are a zone 8-10 plant, and freezing weather will definitely kill it. It is ok to prune it back if it is too big. Nick
