QuestionOne of the larger thorns stuck into the back of my foot in the heel area. Two days later it is still sore. There is no swelling, does not feel warm or is red.... no signs of infection. But it is very sore. Is there something specific about a bougainvillea plant that is known to cause a problem? thanks for your response. Connie
AnswerHi Connie, sorry to hear about that, ouch, I can relate, everytime I prune mine back I have trepidation, because the small thorns have a habit of the tips breaking off in your skin, I would soak the heel in epsom salts (solution), this will work the tip out, it has worked for me on my hand when this happens...Nick
