AnswerHi Renee, and welcome! your Sago (either the queen or king)can have its bottom fronds trimmed to suit the look you want; many trim them at 9 and 3..meaning the plant would be a clock and the left frond would be at 9am and the right one at 3pm, this seems to be the look that most people want. From a health standpoint, only the browned fronds need to be trimmed, but as I said, there is no harm in showing more of the trunk by taking more of the green bottom ones off. Nick
