QuestionI have 6 Sago Palms in my yard. 4 of them are green as can be and beautiful, but two have new growth turning brown and "frizzled". I noted your answer earlier regarding Magnesium Sulfate...I was puzzled as the ones with the frizzle are only 5 feet from the ones that are gorgeous. Help!
AnswerHi Don, Frizzle top is more common in other palms, and Magnesium Sulphate deficiency is usually the reason, however in your Sagos, it could still be a nutrient deficiency combined with an Scale problem; check the fronds and let me know if you notice a white, dust like covering on them. Nick
