QuestionI am enjoying five yucca plants in my yard that have already bloomed (white flowers on tall stems). Should I break off the stems now or leave them alone? What happens next? thanks
AnswerHi Archer, let it brown out and then snip it off near the end of the stalk (flower stalk); it will probably send out additional flowers throughout the year, but in any event, this is how to prune it off, when it has hardened off cut it at the bottom of the browned out flower stalk, it will actually look petrified when it has died back...Nick
