Question
I was transplanting some 12-15 ft. foxtails and I skinned and knicked up the trunks on them from using the tree sling on a bob cat. Is there anything I can put on them? Are they going to be ok?

Hi Jay, as long as the cuts are superficial and no deep penetrations occurred, you will be fine; the abrasions will callous over by themselves. Often Foxtails are damaged by careless landscapers that using a weed wacker, skin the heck out of them; they will callous every time; its the deep cuts that send the jury out for a verdict.:)Nick
