QuestionHi, I, too have a mussaenda plant, but I neglected to cut it back last fall. It
still has no leaves or anything on it, and looks dead. Should I cut it back now,
or will it do something soon...it is mid-April. Deb
AnswerHi Deb, it probably is just looking ratty, cut out the dead leaves and trim it back if you like (they are pretty durable actually); give mother nature a chance to restore it, moderate water and a little fertilizer too if you haven't already. Is it in a container or in the ground, if in a container, it may be wise to repot it with new medium to stimulate growth. Nick
