QuestionHi there! I have a hibiscus plant in a large pot that I brought in for the winter. Should I cut it back this spring and if so how far back? Thanks, Rhonda in GA
AnswerHi Rhonda, Hibiscus responds very well to pruning, but its not a plant that goes into dormancy, so pruning it is more or less for aesthetics, so if it looks leggy, then by all means cut it back to encourage new growth, and keep a watch for aphids and mealy bugs. Nick:)
