QuestionI would like to know how far north in the US can a foxtail fern remain planted outside. Also how do you propagate this fern. Thank you for any help you can give.
Fran
AnswerHi Fran, foxtails are sub tropical (zone 9-11) Florida and parts of Texas ideally, but if you grow them in a container and move them inside during the colder months, it may work out for you. Propagation is by segments of the root systems, as they spread underground. regards Nick
