QuestionHi Nick; I am a transplanted retired Canadian living in the north shore village of El Porvenir in Honduras. We have MANY sea grape plants/trees on the beach and I have planted some as a "hedge" . Recently we have been infested with a type of worm on the plants. The large 30 foot trees in front of the beach are losing all their leaves and my small plants are keeling over with them....hungary worms!!! Will these worms actually kill the large trees? What can I do to get rid of the ones on my small 2 foot high plants? Thanks Nick, will appreciate your response

AnswerHi Anne, I must admit I have never heard of this before, we too have many seagrapes here in south Florida, and I have never seen anything afflict them; my advice however is to spray them with a product called Sevin, albeit I don't know what is available in Honduras. Sevin is very affective on caterpillars and that type of insect. Nick
