I have had a few bougainvillea over the years and they NEVER bloom, just the green healthy-looking foliage. I wonder if it's my soil. My alamanda and hibiscus look fine. I live in the Tampa Bay area in Florida. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!
AnswerHi Dawn, many people have this problem, the key to getting those beautiful colorful bracts are stressing the Boug; yes, it actually does much better with little water and almost no fertilizer. People tend to water it and fertilize it way to much, and this causes wonderful greenery but almost no color.
