QuestionNick -
You've given me clear instructions on transplanting my 7' Dracaena Marginata (question dated 9/19/07.) But before I do, I have another question.
Would it be possible to separate the 4 or 5 plants that are in the 14" industrial black rubber pot I purchased them in? If it would work, I'd prefer the large tall trunks be exposed -- by removing the thin/lower plants that seem to be added as filler. Or would that be too much stress? I paid a pretty big price, so I'd hate to lose everything.
Thanks for any help you may be able to give,
Marcy
AnswerYes, by all means, you will find the small ones are actually separate plants, so separate to your hearts content. When you transplant the whole thing you will see what I mean, they will separate by themselves when you remove the rootball from the nursery pot. Nick
