QuestionI dug up a bougainvillea that was growing on the city easement and I want to move it somewhere else. But I think we put in shock. the leaves are wilting and falling off. Should I cut it back and pray that it will grow back or what?
AnswerHi Lynn, cut it back and replant it in a container if possible and put it in dappled shade until it overcomes the stress period; once you see new growth then you can put it in its new location, a word of caution, do not overwater! Bougs do better with water stress. Nick
