Question
Hi
I just received a Musa Basjoo plant and it seems to be grown well but the leaves are turn brown around the edges and curling.  I live in Michigan and the plants are in pots.  Since it is still chilly at night I have been bringing them inside and putting them back out in the morning.  Any clues on what I might be doing wrong?

Michelle, Bananas love water, however, in pots people tend to overwater them (not realizing it); the bottom of the pot becomes waterlogged and the roots sit in this water and begin to rot. I'm inclined to think that the combination of excess water and cooler temps is the culprit; check the pots and repot with a fresh medium if necessary and I think the new growth will be devoid of this problem.
