QuestionHow tall do they get and do they make good hedges?
AnswerDale, Ixora is a wonderful hedge! its in bloom all year and easy to maintain; (you didnt mention where your live)its a semi tropical plant so it will not tolerate freezes; it only gets to about 4-5 feet maximum and blends nicely with a variety of other plantings..the red flowers it produces are abundant. The only thing you need be concerned about are aphids, scale and mites..which can be easily controlled with a horticultural oil. Fertilize with a acid fertilizer high in phosphorous (they are prone to phosphorous deficiency). Good luck and let me know if you need any more info...Nick
