Rubber Tree Plant

Question
I have a young rubber tree plant.  It was a cutting from a large tree given to me by a friend.  I rooted it and potted it.  It seemed to be doing okay, and I was reading about it liking direct sunlight and setting it outdoors for part of the day, but apparently the day was too hot for it, and several of the leaves are now bleached out.  I'm not sure what to do to bring it back to life, or if I can.  Can you help me out? Thanks!

Answer
It likes bright indirect light.  Most tropicals do.  You can have it outside just not in direct light.  Let it sit under the protection of a large tree and that is perfect.  Or if you have a deck with a bit of a roof on it.  That would be good too.

It will take some time for it to recoup.  But it will.  Just baby it with fish emulsion, water, and shade and it will snap out of it.

Happy Growing
Kristina
