QuestionI have an African Violet with gorgeous varigated leaves (green and white). The plant has began to grow a second plant from the base of the first plant; that is no problem, but it appears that the new plant is not varigated. What gives?
AnswerThis happens frequently on older violets. Maybe the new plant hasn't had time to develop its colors yet, or maybe it will not be variegated like its "mother" plant. I actually do not have a lot of experience with variegated ones, esp if they develop babies. Sorry
