QuestionI have read so many things to do I need clarity!! the dead flowers, do you cut them or pinch them off, and the biggest question is WHERE, at the attachment to the main stem or at the tip of the branch the flowers are on? Help!
AnswerSharon, don't make things so hard on yourself! If a bloom is dead or dried up, then just pinch it off right below where it attaches to the flower branch. If, however, several flowers on a branch are dead then you can actually pinch the attachment to the main stem. I prefer pinching them off while leaving as much stem as possible; I feel that this way they will reproduce flowers more quickly. Hope this has helped.
