QuestionLeaves of the new growth are curled, some are very brittle and some die as soon as they form. Flowers still form but are deformed. I have lost most of my plants so I am devastated.
AnswerCarol,
I don't suppose you could send me a photo? Anyway, when the new growth leaves start to curl it sounds like it could be a fungal infection. Either that or nematodes in the soil. Either way the outlook is not good. Check to see if the soil is extremely moist, almost to the point of being wet. Violets can tolerate it for a short while, but not for long without developing a fungus. Then, get back to me on followup, with a photo if possible.
Hope to hear from you soon.
