Inky coloured spots on
I suddenly have blackish/navy blueish/purplish spots on several of my African Violets. They are potted in clay pots and a couple of them have lived in a white wicker basket. Even the basket is spotty. I have looked all over the internet and find solutions for every other colour of spots, but not this. Do you have any insights? Thanks!

This is truly odd, and I've never seen it before. All I can suggest is that maybe it is a fungal infection or possibly another kind of "critter" like an insect. The plant itself looks pretty healthy, though.
